History
The MiG-29 was the pride and joy of the Russian soviet army, said to be one of the most important military aircrafts for the Russian’s in the last year of the cold war. It is still exported until this day with new and better updates onto the model making it a popular combat and recreational plane.
The MiG-29’s Development began in the late 1960’s as a counter measure to the American FX program. The FX program was a development team working on a new fighter pilot with enhanced capabilities. As it was the period of cold war the Russians followed with great interest and began building there own experimental fighter pilot which later turned out to be the Mikoyan 29 (MIG-29).

Material Justification
The Fulcrum Design is used within in the project to aid the design of the Fulcrum Fighter-X Concept, the side view of the Mikoyan 29 is used to aid in designing the plane. The nose in both the Mikoyan and the Fighter-X are very similar as is the cockpit area. Below you can find pictures of the Fighter X.
